A 27-track Music CD has been produced by St Raphael’s Special School to help raise funds for the school.
Ashling Tynan, one of the SNAs working in St Raphael’s School came up with the idea of creating a music CD. Every one of the 64 pupils was involved in some way in making the CD from singing, playing instruments and with the artwork for the CD.
The CD was launched at Celbridge Manor on Tuesday 17 November 2015. There was a huge turnout of families and friends at the event where pupils were entertained with a puppet show, face paints, lots of treats and a DVD of the making of the CD. The evening was hosted by RTE’s Shay Byrne of “Risin’ Time”, Radio One and also in attendance was Kildare hurler Paul Divilly.
The CD is available for €5.00 from the school and various local retailers.
