Wellbeing

The wellbeing of both pupils and staff is very important in our school. This year we have focused on Belonging and how we all belong. We got wrist bands for all pupils and staff with the wording ‘We All Belong’ on them. We also got pins for our staff with the wording ‘You Make a Difference’.

As part of Creative Clusters we welcomed Kasia and Gustavo to the school. They ran
interactive sensory sound baths with groups to help pupils regulate and enjoy some relaxation time.

The Wellbeing Committee are also focused on giving back the community. We fundraised for Special Olympics Ireland by participating in Laps for inclusion and we also had Green Day for St Patrick’s Day in aid of the charity Laura Lynn. For staff we brought in Kevin to do some breath work classes.

We will keep looking into ways to help both pupils and staff in their wellbeing.
